Leona Naess will release her fourth album Thirteens in the UK on May 11th, almost a year after the second single ‘Heavy Like Sunday’ became a surprise radio hit. Originally an 11-track album, the UK release will live up to its title with two additional bonus tracks that were not featured on the US edition released last September – ‘Danke Schoen’ and a “mellow version” of album track ‘Unnamed’. Leona is currently on tour with A Camp, who play their final European date of this jaunt tonight at Kings College in London, but she’s also been playing some solo shows. You can see her at The Black Gardenia in London on May 13th or at the Unitarian Church in Brighton on May 15th.
While you’re waiting for the album to drop, Leona currently has 10 free songs available to download from findthe13.com; the original plan to have 13 previously unreleased recordings seems to have faltered somewhat with nothing extra added since January, but snag these while you can.
