One pair of tickets to see US star for free on her first ever UK tour

Meiko’s story is one of logs to riches, having grown up in a cabin in a small town of just 300 houses in her home state of Georgia before taking off for Los Angeles armed with her acoustic guitar and a bunch of songs, getting a job as a waitress at the Hotel Café in Hollywood and catching the eyes and ears of various music bigwigs with her self-released, self-titled album in 2007. From there it quickly snowballed into numerous TV licensing opportunities, successful tours with fellow Hotel Café alumna Sara Bareilles, Priscilla Ahn and Ingrid Michaelson, and the adoration of a certain Mr Perez Hilton. In fact, Perez is such a big fan that he even cameos in the video for Meiko’s new single, ‘Under My Bed’, released on July 20th through Myspace Records.

Meiko is currently in the UK as part of her first ever European live dates, mostly supporting Joshua Radin but also finding time to fit in three dates of her own. Wears The Trousers has been given one pair of tickets to give away to a London show of your choice – tomorrow’s gig at Monto Water Rats or Monday’s gig at The Fly Bar.
